Alan Aure, Director of Tennis
Alan hails from Pittsburgh, PA. A graduate from Xavier University, Alan played Division I tennis and started his career here at Q.C.R.C. before graduation. Alan has been actively involved in the Junior Development Tennis Program since his arrival and is now the director of the program he loves so much. John Van Lokeren, Head Tennis Professional
John has molded many junior and adult players through the years. His talents lie in his ability to open up the court and player's mind to strategic play. He challenges you to see the opportunities to transition the point from defense to offense - managing your strengths and attacking your opponents weaknesses.
Wil Lofgren, Head Tennis Professional
Wil, well he grew up here - literally. Taking the same path of his father and General Manager, Bill Lofgren. A Cincinnati native, Wil graduated from Princeton High School where he was a member of the 2003 State Championship Team. He went on to play Division I tennis at Bradley University, where he was a 4 year scholarship player as well as 1st Team All Missouri Valley Conference Player. Wil received his degree in Business Management. Wil is a Cincinnati Met Champion. Wil has been groomed by the best and now he is passing on the skills and strategies of the game to the next generation of Queen City hopefuls.
Carol Tanner Interclub Coordinator Tennis Professional
Carol had been a teaching pro and a coach at Queen City since 1978. Currently, she is the coordinator of women's interclub, adult programs, and USTA leagues. Over the past 20 years Carol has accomplished many rankings in singles, doubles and mixed doubles, including a national ranking for seniors singles and doubles. She also has a national title for every age group from 35 to 55. Carol retired after 12 seasons as the Women's Tennis Coach at the University of Cincinnati. Inducted into the GCTA Hall of Fame in 2007 she is a fixture in Cincinnati tennis.
A Croatian National, Kristina Williams comes from the city of Split. She grew up playing at the Split Tennis Club, home of former Wimbledon winner Goran Ivansevic. Kristina came to America in 2008 and played 4 years at Marshall University. While at Marshall, she helped the team achieve the highest ranking in school history at #24. Kristina has taught tennis in Croatian and in Huntington. Welcome to the team!
